The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be making its debut late in 2019. An official opening date, pricing, and hours of operation have yet to be decided.
Although the museum has yet to be opened, the exhibits that will be on display have already been determined.
One of the main exhibits will be The Making of The Wizard of Oz, where guests will be given the opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes content related to the movie.
Where Dreams are Made: Journey Inside the Movies is another exhibit that will be available for viewing once the museum has officially opened. Guests will get the chance to learn all about the art and science behind movie-making.
Teamlab: Transcending Boundaries is an interactive exhibit with engaging film-related artwork. This exhibit is comprised of over 500 artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, and architects.
Hayao Miyazaki will be another exhibit that will soon be displayed. Guests can learn all about the famous Japanese filmmaker and his journey through the cinematic universe.
