Field trip to Dudley House Museum
The Dudley House Museum is a living history museum educating visitors on the life of the Dudley family. The house was built in 1892 and is one of the few fully restored farmhouses in the county. The interior has since been built into a museum and history center and features many pieces of original furniture from the Dudley family.

The foundation that currently cares for the Dudley house offers special docent-led tours for school groups of all varieties. Period music plays while students experience pioneer farming life of the early 1900s. Groups will also tour the extensive gardens and grounds, which make for a gorgeous walk. Students will take away an immense appreciation for the history of Ventura County after listening to the many stories told by the knowledge and dedicated docents.

Special tours are available only by appointment so please call San Buenaventura Heritage for more information and to set up a date and time to ensure docents are available for your group
