Field trip to Fillmore Historical Museum
Not satisfied with taking a trip to see a single historical building? Then visit the Fillmore Historical Museum, one of the few locations where you can tour and learn about three separate historical buildings: a 1905 craftsman-style home; an 1887 Southern Pacific Depot; and the 1919 Rancho Sespe Bunkhouse.

On your trip through the Museum, students will be split into small groups. Museum docents will lead your students through the various displays answering all questions they have and guiding their exploration.

Contained in the buildings is an extensive collection of many different collectibles. These include a collection of fossils, toys, dolls, antique wedding dresses, army and navy uniforms, antique telephone equipment, a model railroad collection and much more. Check out the website for a complete list of the items on display.

Students will be able to walk to each of the displays and eat a picnic on the grass nearby. Call the Museum office or visit the website to download and submit a tour application to schedule your trip!
