Field trip to Hidden Valley Nature Center
The Hidden Valley Nature Center is 1500 acres with 25 miles of tranquil hiking trails, bike trails as well as equestrian trails. There are various animals that you can encounter along the trails such as rabbits, snakes, turtles, and toads, along with other small animals.

The Nature Center offers a number of programs including presentations about the Wetlands, Native Americans, Geology, the Santa Ana Watershed and more. Depending on which program you take, you can hike, join in on hands-on activities, create crafts, play games, and watch some live animal presentations. Some of the programs provided are Scout Programs, Field Trips, Nature Camps, Outreach Programs, and Summer programs.

The Nature Center also has an educational pond and an amphitheater. Explore the hiking trails, sit down for a picnic and enjoy the serene scenery around you as you watch animals in their natural habitat, listen to the birds in the trees and enjoy the peacefulness of it all. There are also seasonal events held at the Nature Center.
