Mission San Gabriel Arcangel is the fourth of twenty-one Missions in California. While touring Mission San Gabriel, visitors will learn about the history and creation of San Gabriel Mission as well as its purpose and near destruction. Those visiting have an opportunity to take a tour throughout this well-known historic site. While touring this Mission you'll come across historic literature, artifacts, and art pieces.

Visit the church and stay for Mass, or tour some of the other areas of Mission San Gabriel: the garden grounds, cemetery, grapevines or wine cellar, just to name a few.

Whether you're a lover of history, art, architecture, or gardening; or just want to learn more about Roman Catholic religion, Mission San Gabriel has something for you.

The church is still fully functional and open to the public, and the grounds are available to rent out for weddings, special events or photography sessions. A gift shop is located at Mission San Gabriel as well, where visitors may purchase souvenirs and gifts to take home.
