Orange County Great Parks is focused on sports, agriculture, and arts. Great Parks has a little bit of everything, from sports to history, to garden centers, Great Parks is fun for all ages. It's biggest attraction is the Great Parks Balloon, which first opened in 2007. Great Parks Balloon goes up to a height of 500 feet and can hold between twenty-five to thirty passengers. Great Parks also has a Carousel attraction and a Certified Farmers Market, along with the Farm and Food Lab.
A pair of reflecting ponds and 2,200 square feet of On the sports side of things, Great Park is home to a 5,000 seat championship soccer field. With 24 soccer fields, two sandy volleyball courts, four basketball courts, twenty-five tennis courts, and two softball fields, it is the ideal place for sports players to come and play a game or two.
While at Orange County Great Parks be sure to visit the Heritage and Aviation exhibit known as Hangar 244, and the Palm Courts arts. History lovers should take a stroll through the Walkable History Timeline which includes 162 historical events.
The Giving Grove is also a part of Great Parks, Great Parks donates fresh fruit from the Giving Grove to local food banks.
