The San Diego Air and Space Museum is the place to go for aviation and space lovers alike. The Air and Space Museum has interactive displays, a movie theater, simulators, animatronics, old planes, fighter jets, helicopters and space memorabilia spread throughout the museum.
The Museum is home to reproductions of The Wright Brothers gliders, as well as, Apollo 9 Command Module, a Moon Rock, and more. During your visit to The San Diego Air and Space Museum, you will learn all about the history of aviation as well as the history behind space travel.
The San Diego Air and Space Museum offers school programs for all ages such as Simple Machines, Things That Fly and Transportation Station for the younger grade levels. The Air and Space Museum also offers programs like Aqua Rocket, Target Challenge, Magic Planet, Propeller Rovers, Paper Rockets, and more for the older grade levels.
