Field trip to San Diego History Center
Want to learn more about the history of San Diego, while having some fun? The San Diego History Center offers education programs that can help you learn about what has been called "the home of California"!

Any K-12 Programs that are offered at the San Diego History Center have been designed with the classroom in mind, acting as an extension of in-class activities. They also are aligned with the California Site Standards and Common Core, being led by trained and professional docents and educators, ensuring that you're getting the real deal!

Have something different you want to do with your class? The Education Department is willing to work with educators to create an experience at the museum to ensure all interests and needs are met!

Can't break away from the classroom? Let their traveling teachers come to you! The San Diego History Center can send museum educators to your classroom with a fun interactive presentation, involving different works from the museum's collection!

The History Center of the Museum is also a participant in School-in-the-Park, a great nature-oriented program offered in the City Heights & Balboa Park area.
