Field trip to Seabee Museum
The Seabee Museum was established in 1947 and documents the story of the Civil Engineer Corps and the Naval Construction Force (Seabees) from their creation during WWII to the present. A brand new facility was built in 2010 to provide the general public access to a modern space for viewing the exhibits.

The Museum greatly values the educational aspect of Seabee history and offers field trips customized for multiple grade levels.

Kindergarten to 3rd grade field trips takes place in the STEM center, which is comprised of a gear wall, reading corner, and various building and construction activities, which are designed to spark the curiosity of young learners.

Field trips for grades 4+ include a guided tour of the museum's many exhibits and culminate in an activity for the specific grade level. These activities range from the Ocean Map Exploration to an Investigation of History Through Art.

Check out this state-of-the-art facility and foster the "Can Do" Seabee spirit in your class!

Admission is free.
